Size Chart
Drag Queen Sizes
We've developed distinct sizes tailored to suit the unique needs of drag queens. Conventional sewing patterns primarily target standard women's sizes, which may not align with the diverse body shapes of drag queens who enhance their silhouettes with padded hips and busts. Our patterns bridge this gap by centering on US standard ASTM men's and women's plus sizes, thoughtfully adapted to accommodate the specific requirements of the drag community.

FAQs
What is a sloper?
A sloper is a basic pattern block used as the foundation for creating custom designs. Think of it as the “blank canvas” for drag queen fashion and DIY clothing. Our skirt sloper gives you the correct shape, darts, and proportions so you can draft your own unique skirt designs without starting from scratch.
How do I use a sloper?
You print the sloper, trace it onto paper or fabric, and then add seam allowance, style lines, and design details. From there, you can transform the block into mini skirts, pencil skirts, dramatic drag queen looks, or whatever fierce fashion you want.
Can any gender wear this pattern?
Yes, anyone who matches the size measurements provided with each pattern can wear them. However, some adjustments may be needed.
Our unique drag queen sizes are based off of U.S. Standard Men’s & Women’s Plus sizes to better fit male bodies with padding.
We increase shoulder, bicep, elbow, wrist, knee, calf, ankle widths, and lower crotch inseams, compared to standard Women's sizing.
All sizes can be altered at the waist, knee, and elbow to achieve a better fit for you.
Can I edit the sloper to fit my style?
Yes, absolutely! Slopers are meant to be customized. You can lengthen or shorten the hem, change the waistband, flare it out, or add panels. The drag queen skirt sloper is especially easy to modify so you can create bold, one-of-a-kind clothing.
Does the sloper include instructions?
No, slopers do not come with sewing instructions. They are professional base blocks for pattern making. This is for intermediate or advanced sewists who are comfortable designing their own garments.
How can I learn to edit and design with a sloper?
There are many free tutorials and videos on YouTube that show you how to draft patterns from a sloper. Simply search for “how to use a sloper” or “pattern making with a sloper,” and you’ll find endless tips and tricks.
