How to Print and Assemble Your Katkow PDF Sewing Pattern

Printing Your Pattern

Print your pattern at 100% scale. Do NOT select “Fit to Page” or any scaling option.

Always check the ruler in the corner to confirm measurement accuracy.

If you want to save ink, you can print in draft mode and black and white.

Page Layout & Assembly

Each page has a code at the top center, such as A1, A2, B1, B2.

Numbers run left to right across each row: 1, 2, 3.

Letters run top to bottom down each column: A, B, C.

A1 is the top left page. A2 goes to its right. B1 sits directly below A1. Lay your pages out in this grid format before taping.

You will also see star markings on the pages. Match the stars when aligning pages to confirm correct placement.

Trimming & Taping

The pages include printer margins. For the cleanest result, trim the overlapping margins before taping so all text, lines, and annotations remain visible.

You only need to trim the edges that overlap. If you prefer to save time, you can fold the margins instead, but trimming gives a more accurate finish.

PDF Formats Included

Our patterns come with 3 different PDF formats:
