Option 1: Trim with Scissors
Use sharp paper scissors to trim off the right and bottom margins of each page. Keeping two sides untrimmed helps maintain structure while assembling.
Option 2: Fold the Margins
Instead of cutting, you can fold the margins back along the page edge. Crease the fold firmly so the pattern lines meet cleanly when overlapped.
Tips for Clean Trimming:
- Use a ruler and craft knife for straight edges if desired.
- Work in rows to stay organized.
- Align the half star markings carefully before taping.
Take your time during trimming and assembly. Clean alignment ensures accurate sizing and smooth pattern piece edges.
